Kern Home Builders Association

The Home Builders Association of Kern County is a builder trade association that draws its membership from those who work in the residential and commercial construction industry or who provide building related services to those firms. It provides a forum through which these businesses can work together to keep informed regarding new and proposed policies advanced by the local, state and federal governments which affect the housing industry.

WHAT HAS HBA DONE FOR ITS MEMBERS LATELY?

• Restored $12 million in funding for Kern County builders through the CHFA School Fee Rebate Program
• Continue to save home builders over $1 million per year in higher, alternative school impact fees imposed under S.B. 50
